Workers employed within the Wind Turbine sector usually have to complete the Oil and Gas UK medical certification.
Seafarer Medical Certification has previously been an acceptable medical assessment for the Wind Turbine Sector, however it is no longer recommended by The Danish Maritime Authority.
On occasion, there is a requirement for a further medical examination to supplement the OGUK medical. This is usually in the form of either an ECG or a Chester Step test. Our clinic offers both ECG and Chester Step Test services.
The supplementary examinations are based on recommendations from Renewable UK (RUK). Following the assessment a certificate will be issued in accordance with Annex I of Issue 2 (2013) of RenewableUK Medical Fitness to Work.
